TEJAS (Textile Embroidery Job work Association of Surat) is an organization formed by small, medium and large-scale job workers working in Surat textile embroidery sector involved in manufacturing of Indian ethnic wear, home furnishing or any other textile sector that uses computerised embroidery goods.
Incorporated in 06th November 2020 having registered number F/2667/SURAT this association has gained lot of attention with more than 2000 active members and more than 100 volunteer members. TEJAS plays huge role in order to negotiate for better Job workers rights, including better & timely payments, safer working conditions, and better benefits. Association chooses representatives & legal advisors to negotiate on its behalf with the parties dealing with job workers.
TEJAS is also involved in social activities such as conduction seminars and webinars on developing the skills of women workers that is involved in quality checks, thread cutting & machine operations.
